Snow Level: 1800 ft (550m) Vertical Runs: 1720 ft (520m)
Last Update 16.35hrs on Friday 23rd Jan 2026
The run of severe gales is set to continue with significant further snowfall and drifting expected overnight, and in to tomorrow.
We are confident in opening our Lower beginner area tomorrow.
We have to wait until the weather subsides before the Ops team can access the upper mountain and assess our options for the Mountain Railway and and surface lifts. It was hard too see much above the middle station!!
If the conditions are favorable, we anticipate a delayed start to get anything up and running.
Please check our morning updates for the latest information on our operational plans
All bookings will be contacted via email.
If we are able to open the upper slopes, lift passes will be available to purchase on site.
Please do not park in any mountain car parks overnight, especially during snow storms as this can hamper our snow clearing operations. There is overnight parking available in Glenmore.

On busy days we can reach full capacity and may be unable to sell Lift Passes on arrival. We recommend only travelling if you’re comfortable with the possibility that you may not be able to ski or snowboard.
We cannot guarantee parking, even for pre-booked customers so please arrive early, consider car sharing or take the Stagecoach bus from Aviemore. On weekends certain days, there will be shuttle busses running from the Ciste car park from 9am.
During the winter season, and especially on weekends, our equipment rental facility will be very busy, with wait times often exceeding an hour. At present, we are only offering helmets as part of our main rental packages.
Multi-day passes are not available at the moment. Due to the changing conditions, we will release tickets only a short time in advance. If the weather is more settled, then this may change. During this busy time, we may not be able to respond to messages, comments, and email enquiries and suggest following updates on our Mountain Report.
