:: Weather Conditions
Thanks to the deep low pressure which flooded most of Northern England yesterday, Yad Moss luckily was just below freezing and got a great dump of snow. Arrived 9.30 and got the kite out for a few runs before the tow was de-iced.

Initially there was some great little wind blown powder stashes in the gullies and behind snow fences, which alone warranted a 4 on the conditions rating. But the piste basher and other people soon took the 'icing of the cake'. As the day went on the temp crept slowly up above freezing making for eventually sticky conditions. Viz stayed fine all day, with a southerly wind.

Great day out on the Northern Pennines and many thanks to all the volunteers who keep these places going and seem to spend all the good days shovelling snow and hitting pylons with hammers.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
From wind blown powder to breakable frozen 'stuff' at first. Softened as the day went on.
