:: Weather Conditions
Excellent day with cloud above summit and exceelent visibility. Some gusts later in afternoon. Getting warmer as day progressed with top 4-6cm of snow pack becoming wet.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Generally excellent cover for November. Probably could ski anywhere on well packed snow , a little crusty lower down towards Plateau Poma and Mugs. Fresh tracks on Main Basin for first two runs on very good snow, almost spring like. Full width of Main Basin available down to and including Haggis Trap. Run down Happy Valley very good uniform surface. Spring Run very good on uniform firm surface snow down left hand side and then onto mixed snow lower down to Poma track. East ridge and Baillies looked excellent but didn't have enough in legs to go back up. First class November conditions. Bowls over at Creis area looked very complete and good. A quick look down Memorial Gulley also looked promising.
