Bright weather with excellent visabiltiy and very light wind in the morning! (I have sunburn LoL)

Cloud moving just over the tops and increasing wind in the afternoon.

Freezing level climbed during the afternoon to probably +1 however felt biteingly cold due to increasing wind.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Machine pisted runs were good all day, very few icy patches. Warrens and Sidwinder were good condition.

Unpisted runs started with very heavy snow, but improved though out the day as they softend and were cut up. Fresh drifting snow in the afternoon has began to much improve these areas in perticular on the Goose.

Off piste snow was very heavy!!

Sun, mist & snow. Windier on the summit but very pleasant once you dropped into the corries.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Wonderful deep powder in the back corries. You could ride all the way back to the daylodge.

Loads and loads of untracked powder which you can easily have to yourself if prepared to hike out.

Fiona made it round twice on her blades(not gracefully) , got a few odd looks from other riders. Fiona has since concluded that they were perhaps not the best choice of kit for today : )

Packed / groomed powder elsewhere. Didnt see much of it, far more interesting out back.

All 3 of us still managed a core shot each.

Would have been nice to have seen the rob roy tbar open. They'd definitely had a piste basher up it.

Poor viz down to the bottom of the goose in the morning, lifting by lunchtime to reveal the Ben in the background. Snow showers threatened far off in the afternoon, but never arrived.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Excellent conditions on and off piste with freshies to be found everywhere in the morning. Great fun popping from the piste, over the walls of snow and into knee deep powder.

Poor viz to start but cloud lifted and the sun came out, wind wasn't an issue except at the summit
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Excellent cover, lots of interesting routes possible, rocks lurking off piste but main pistes are wide and well groomed, piste bashers doing a good job.

the weather was overcast with some or no visbility from the middle to the summit.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
The cover which was suggested on the snow report was nothing like it actually wa son the mountain. The report suggested full coverage of snow on the mountain which was not the case! Cover was broken and patchy with only 10-15m wide strips down the fence line actually getting a full covering of snow and even they were only 2-5cm deep.
The upper runs i.e. summit was wind blown and icy (not good for snowboarding). Ended up leaving after an hour and going to the Co where the snow was slightly improved.
