Clear skies in the morning were soon replaced by clouds and snow showers. Visibility was good, even in the showers, with the occasional gust creating whiteouts for a few seconds. However any exposed skin was on the receiving end of a good blasting, as the strengthening winds whipped up the snow.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Windblown wet snow down to the top station allowed you to ski/board over to the quad chair. The Fairway below the chair was pisted to 2 widths wide. The lower half of the Goose was pisted out to 3 widths wide, with the top half and Goose Gully left untouched.

The best conditions were definitely in the top half of Goose gully before the burn became exposed. With the wind blowing so much snow around, there were plenty of areas filling in waiting to be re-tracked.

A few areas higher up have been scoured by the wind, but the summit has filled in nicely since New Year and Mark has started shifting around snow to start on the park.

The weather today was very windy, i think at one point i was heading back up the summit run rather than down it, and the snowblast in the face didnt go down too well either. The strong wind made the ride down on the quad and the gondola very interesting
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Im having a few problems attaching photo's to the reports but there has been a big change in the skiing available and the conditions in the runs.

The summit, to be frank is more or less an ice rink, but i dont think the bashers can do anything about it really because of the winds. The top half of the goose that is open is pretty heavy.

Unfortunately i didnt get there till 1, and by 2 the tow had broken. It broke for a good half hour to fourty minutes and i basically gave up and headed back down after only two runs, after some faffing about with my camera to amuse myself.

The quad was pretty sketchy, and not being one for heights it wasnt so exciting for me.

But fair play to Nevis for making a go of it, there's no way that the lifty on the summit, not sure if it was Mark, was enjoying the weather. But hopefully it gets hit with some snow soon.

:: Weather Conditions
Cloudy above 3500ft, with the wind picking up at times. However, no where near as bad as forecasted. Ended up having to strip off a few layers pretty early on in the day.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Plenty of windblown snow waiting to be tracked out. As the day went on the snow became heavier and wetter, but there was still plenty of places left untracked. Some of the best riding was down Flight, with windblown lips just waiting to be popped off.

Hats off to Nevis Range. Even though you could access the entire hill with the lifts available, they still offered discounted prices on full area passes. That's the kind of gesture that will bring folk back in their droves. It's been a long time since I've had to queue for 15mins to get the gondola back down, yet you never had to queue for more than a few minutes at the tows.

Freezing Level top of Quad chair
No wind at "top station" a bit of a breeze on summit.
Summit remained in cloud mostof the day but Goose and chair runs were cloud free with good light.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
The Summit runs were pisted and fence depth very nice snow. Where the park normaly is was almost bare in places.
Goose was unpisted fresh snow full width up top and still wide at the bottom.
Chair runs were good to about half way down were they got a bit thin and the snow wet.
Warrens was pisted but their was a big sign at the top of the summit tow saying closed (I suspect it was only the back corries that were truely closed)
