Superb overhead in the morning with blazing sunshine and occasional cloudy spells. By the afternoon, the cloud had once again started to envelope the top of the summit runs and temperate rose above freezing at the gondola station.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Summit runs and the Goose were the picks of the day - skier-packed soft powdery snow all the way down to the Goose halfway point. Decent cover on the lower Goose, but with a number of icy patches and rocks poking through the surface. The Fairway was the best of the Quad chair runs, although all runs were scraped and thin lower down. The Link was complete with a fresh cover of snow, but heavily banked. All lower runs were ski-able with some easily avoided scraped/icy areas.

Cloudy with snow showers in the morning and in the afternoon. Poor visibility

Summit was excellent and various other parts of the goose had excellent surface and snow cover. Lower goose was thin but improving. Do able to the quad using various runs. Most of the lower mountain thin but easily skiable. Rabbit run was decent and a much better alternative to Yockies which was pretty agricultural. Entertainment on the goose was 2 idiots one overtook the piste basher and the other one came behind the basher and skied right into it and his skis got stuck in it and started going down the hill before he managed to get to them

As early morning cloud lifted quickly to leave a sunny morning on Aonach Mor with light winds and with the mountain mist just blowing off the summit it was just perfect for a tour on the plateau..
:: Snow Conditions & Info
No change in the snow cover from yesterday as the expected snow showers did not materialise overnight. Upper goose is fairly well loaded and the Alt an t-Sneachda is reasonably filled and both are giving good skiing, the Goose is thin lower down but still easily skiable to the T-bar, Summit runs are smooth and well groomed, as are Spider, Side Winder, Switch and Cats Alley. Warrens was fast, compacted and hard and for experts only! Lower runs thin and for access only with some easily avoidable rocks as have the traverses to and from Goose tow which are complete and give easy access to the Goose T-bar from the Alpha Tow and then back to the Rabbit Run for the Snowgoose Restaurant and Gondola.

Cold turned bluebird as the sun came up! Gusty at times bit wind never too bad spectacular views. Murk further East and south clearly visible!

Few more rocks low down vs yesterday esp higher traffic areas. Went for a quick tour out over Aonach Mor towards Aonach Beg - did not ascend latter (no crampons/axe). Summit runs in good shape, and unlike yesterday you could see! Best route down was skiers right of summit button for rock-free entry into Goose Gully. Lower Goose loosened up with traffic and sunshine. Pics here http://photos.veletron.com/index.php/album98/album128/Nevis-Range-12th-Feb-2017 (Alan feel free to use should you wish).

Persistent fog that lifted after lunch for nice sunny spells lower down. It stuck to the summit all day.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Skiers left of alpha best for the zone B area, bunny run OK bit of rock dodging. skiers left of quad fairly good cover. Summit runs in good shape, but poor vis. From Goose, red down to quad chair was narrow, few rocks, but the goose Gully and Goose was good back to Goose tow. Did this loads leaving the Gully when it got patchy to come down Goose. Goose was fun, not perfect cover, but nice snow, and the lumps of partially snow covered grass could be treated like moguls! High traffic areas at quad chair and Goose loading required care.
