Great cover for November - very few rocks. Nice grippy snow where pisted. Refrozen snow off piste was great fun once it softened up a bit.

Sunny intervals, snow squalls passing throughout the day adding to the already good cover.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Fresh snow all over the hill with pisted runs offering a good base. In between runs and on no lift serviced runs the snow cover was deep with drifts of up to 3 or 4 feet in places.

the weather we arrived was overcast but very still. During the day the wind may have at times picked up to 10mph but nothing major. The temperatures were consistently below zero. The sun started to poke through the clouds around lunch time and gave great views of all surrounding terrain.

as mentioned in yesterdays reports (31st) the cover was excellent!!! Much better than I or Gunni expected. Fence lines fully loaded and lots of untracked snow available for those willing to do the 10min walk to the top of the runs! Pisted lines were great but outside the fences offered more opertunity for those willing.Unpisted runs offered deep drifts and amazing cover, among other things the chance to chase mountain hares with snowboards!! I and Gunni were in awe the whole day, much more could have been pisted but both of us were glad it wasn't. In one word the start to the Scottish and european non-glacial season was epic! So happy to have done the run from Glasgow and back for it, well worth the early start and hassle.

Squally and sometimes heavy showers in and out all day but viz was good about 90% of the time. Started snowing hard when we left at 4. Freezing level about 400 rising to 700 later in the day.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Heavy windblown freshies all day. Pistuers did a great job of grooming stuff once things got tracked out. Pistes full width and in good condition. A few bits of heather poking out here and there. Plenty of terrain accesible. The lift on the far side (Buzzard?) looked as though it could maybe open but line was iced and no work being done to prepare piste by time we left at 4.
