The weather was dry but overcast for most of the day. Visibility was poor in the morning but steadily improved as the day progressed. There was little or no wind! It was around 1 degree in the car park.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
General cover was much improved over a week ago with many aspects benefiting from the southerly snow storm of the weekend. With the Cairnwell chair out of action due to snow drifts and the same fate befalling the Meal Odhar poma action was limited to Sunnyside and Butcharts.

The snow was mostly wind blown packed power but was begining to turn 'spring like' by the end of the day. Great power to be found in the Thunderbowl and on the Tiger but these required a hike. Butcharts scoured at the top and Carn Aosda also scoured low down and has actually deteriorated from last week.

Sunnyside in great condition. Full width between the fences and plenty of snow depth.

Sun breaking through clouds for most of the day with snow showers, some heavy.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Nearly all runs had skiable cover and the at least half had excellent packed powder. Several areas with powder to ski on especially too of Carn Aosda. Well worth the trip up from yorkshire

Early snow showers, moderate Northerly wind, cleared a bit in the afternoon.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Long queues broken by brief but excellent descents. Coire Fionn largely unpisted; bumps developed by lunchtime. Good skiable off-piste at bottom of Meall Odhar (off run to Tom Dearg poma) and between runs on Cairnwell/Claybokie. Tiger doable if stay close to fence on N side of run. Didn't ski Butcharts or Carn Aosda; plenty of skiers/boarders off piste on latter.

Wasn't too cold out the wind. In the wind at the top of the lifts it was bitter. Wind was strong giving a windchill so need to cover exposed skin.

Started off sunny but snow showers later which were blizzard like at the summits.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Carn Aosda/Butcherts - thin in places. Queues very long.

Sunnyside - thin in places. Queues not so bad as Carn Aosda.

Tom Dearg - not too bad.

Coire Fionn - lots of snow and hardly any rocks or grass showing! Only the runs beside the pomas were open.

Lifts were causing problems on Sunnyside/Tom Dearg/Coire Fionn which meant queue problems from time to time

Queues for ski hire - apparantly taking 3 hours to get served. I saw them queuing from the ski hire shop back towards the clothes shop and up the road.

The whole of Scotland judging my the queue for tickets and equipment!
