Excellent Cover

:: Weather ConditionsFairly strong gusts mostly coming from south, so protected to some degree by mountain. A bit of drizzle at car park early on that turned to snow/small hail for short period in morning. Snow fell from around 3pm. Sun occasionally broke through in morning but visibility deteriorated as day went on.
:: Snow Conditions & InfoFreezing level just above car park, 0.5C when we arrived in morning. Incredible depth now to some of the gullies, mountain fully rounded off. Appeared to be cornice's down the East Ridge (though might have been shadows making it look like that). Mixture of refrozen fresh snow, ice and some fresher patches. Prepared pistes were firm until skiers/boarders softened them up.
:: RidersCanyon yielded deep soft snow. Snow heavy below chair on access runs to begin with, but as day wore on with more traffic became easier to get down red run beside fence. Though carnage corner is living up to its name. Blue run down the access road was pretty gravelly looking at the bottom, but didn't seem to be stopping folk coming down it. Andy, Nick

:: Weather ConditionsDry. Hazy and Sunny at times. Moderate breeze. About 5 degrees at summit so melting fast.
:: Snow Conditions & InfoSnow limited to Main Basin, Spring Run and Wall but on that skiing is excellent. Perfect Spring snow with gentle bumps. Surface survived well but very few skiers to cut up a soft surface.

:: Weather ConditionsMisty and cloudy at first, hill frog from 800m and up. Cold with the freezing level at 500m, rising to 800m in the afternoon. Not too windy, expect for the walk over to the spring run. Heavy Snow showers at 12: 15pm and 3: 30pm, both for around 30mins. Sunny intervals between 2: 45-3: 30pm.
:: Snow Conditions & InfoGreat snow cover from 850m and up.
:: RidersUpper runs: A hard packed base, icy in isolated spots with a mixed covering of granular snow and fresh powder which kept conditions fresh all day long. Some big 'Rollers' in Happy Valley, which was officially shut, but definitely skiable. Mid runs: Same as above, but no powder. Canyon, The Wall and Wall crossover all had goods snow. Mugs alley was broken over a 30m section between to top of Coire Pollach and the snowfactory Snow. The snowfactory was on a defrost cycle today, it has to do so every 20-40 days to prevent components from getting too iced up. It was running from 2pm onwards and thru thursday night. :: Weather ConditionsVery windy in morning. easing a little during afternoon. Cloud descended below tops during day, poor visibility. Freezing level around plateau.
:: Snow Conditions & InfoOnly upper mountain open. Most of wall skiable and able to pick trail down to cafe via Coire Pollach run.
:: RidersSnow in Main Basin was superb, kept getting topped up all day, if only could have seen it too. Skiing by radar. Andy
