Finally a day of winds light enough for some lift served snowsports and the Sun came out, but the wind increased rapidly in the afternoon causing an early end to play.
Uplift limited to the Ciste and Ptarmigan Tows, soft spring like snow, but the cover is narrow and thin. The Ciste Fairway and uptrack are largely tracks of snow pushed out by the Piste Bashers.
Funicular was not middle stopping, but had a run down Coire Cas to end the day. The Traverse was broken between the Top Station and corner of the M1 RaceTrack. From there Traverse was complete onto the 105, but the 105 and links onto the Cas were broken. Coire Cas itself had the best snow on the mountain with firm fast granular spring snow, but the lower Gunbarrel was starting to break with several holes into the burn.
