Heading into the Ciste Bowl, still 1300ft of vertical to the foot of the Ciste Gully.

The end of the line in the Ciste Gully just above the West Wall Chair fence.

Can open up some big turns in the still wide Ciste Gully.

Skiers cross the tow track on Coire Cas.

Taking on the redeveloping moguls in the Gunbarrel on a sitski.

Looking down the lower Gunbarrel, Coire Cas still full length - but first hole of the spring appeared late Sunday.

Still a good width of soft spring snow for learning in the Ptarmgian Bowl.

Looking down the Ptarmigan Bowl between the large kicker and tow.

Oh really? Access the Cas Tow from mid-station to avoid a walk to the top corner of the Traverse.

Outside the Top Station, another very warm sunny day.

Sledge Park open for business next to the Ptarmigan Restaurant.

Having a picnic by the Polar Express Trainer Tow!

Another largely sunny and warm day on CairnGorm Mountain for some spring T-shirt skiing. Some cloud bubbled up late afternoon, but burnt back early evening.

The lift served snowsports continues in the Ptarmigan Bowl which with the tow offloading at the top of the Bowl is still in great shape for novices and learning, plus down on the mid-mountain Coire Cas is still full length for more experienced skiers and boarders.

Though the Cas remains great fun with the bumps rebuilding in the Gunbarrel, the Ciste Gully is well worth the effort with fantastic spring snow and a long wide run from the Ptarmigan Bowl down to just above the fence line back to the West Wall Chair. Can still crank up the turns in the Ciste Gully, but remember there is a river below!

If you can arrange to leave a car in the Ciste Carpark then the Gully makes a fantastic final run, with the walk all downhill! Otherwise it's quicker and less vertical to climb walking over to the Daylodge via the corner of the Daylodge Poma than skinning back up.

The Ptarmigan Terrain Park has a smaller roller/kicker below the large one, which has various hits off the side of it now. There is one short rail and the large pipe jib currently set up. More should be set up later in the week ahead of the Rail / Park Jam on Saturday.
