After being stormbound on Tuesday, Nevis Range opened with reduced wind speeds and 10 - 15cm of fresh snow. Visibility was poor throughout most of the day but did clear during the afternoon. Good skiing was had all over the mountain.
The Goose Gully provided great off-piste skiing on fresh windpacked powder. Wide pisted areas were available on Sidewinder and Cats Alley.
The Alpha tow was running providing access to Yockies and the Rabbit Run which both had an excellent cover of soft spring snow. The Linnhe and Rope Tow provided more area for beginners although the cover is becoming thin. Quad Chair is complete to the bottom pisted 2-3 machines wide.
Back Corries were 'unpatrolled' and 'not recommended' due to the high avalanche risk and scoured entrances.
