Good conditions remain at Nevis Range despite the thaw last weekend.
Best riding was had on the Goose and Sidewinder where there is good cover of soft snow with some firm patches. Quad Chair and Alpha were available for access to the upper mountain but below the Goose T-Bar cover is very thin.
Nevis Range are offering a piste basher taxi service from the Quad chair to the Summit for beginners but the dry slope is also available.
Back Corries are off piste and not patrolled with the avalanche risk moderate/considerable. People have been mainly dropping in from Chancer but some folk have ventured over Summit Gully & Spikes. Traverse out is rocky but passable with only a small walk.
