Report
A dry and bright day with goo visibility on the high tops, giving some stunning views of low level cloud trapped in the high glens by the Temperature Inversion.

Despite temperatures well above freezing on the mountain the snow remained firm to hard packed at all elevations. Ptarmigan Bowl has a decent base but has some narrower bits.

Ptarmigan Tow and Trainer Tow open on Saturday and same expected Sunday. Ample areas for learning.

Can get to top of Gunbarrel via the M1 or Traverse, but below that walking is required as the Funicular is not making mid-station stops.

Thanks to H11lly for the photos. If you have been out sliding please send your photos to pix2007@winterhighland.info .
