Snowy Owl run from the Chair.
Wipeout on the Snowy Owl Chair.
Skiers on the thin and in places narrow Eagle. Notice big group at top, that was a queue to get through a bit wide enough for just one skier!
Looking towards Strathdon over the Grouse and Eagle runs from the Chair.
Kassbohrers have churned up peat into the snow making the Eagle look even worse than it was.

It looked horrific, but the Gorm was stormbound and we wanted to play. A few rain showers but fairly light so not as bad as feared.
The cover was thin and anywhere with even a hint of rocks wouldn't have been skiable. Despite the hideous appearance the remaining snow was actually quite nice to ski on which came as a shock! Loose granular spring snow, was neither sticky, slushy or wet. It doesn't have to look pretty to have fun, after all it beats working!
