Skiers on the White Lady, top half ok but breaking in the middle.

Grim looking Ciste Fairway. Thin and narrow in places and going to get very icy with the refreeze with standing water Sunday.

Looking over the Northern Corries from Lady Luck on route to the White lady.

Gunbarrel isn't pretty bit it beats walking!

Looking up the Ptarmigan Bowl, still a reasonable depth on the run, but not that wide a cover in the Bowl. Still ample nursery areas.

Funicular and M1 RaceTrack and top of Traverse from the Fiacaill. M1 RaceTrack mostly good cover except one bit which can be avoided by going outside the fences.

Upper Cas looking to the Headwall - Scotty beam that snow to the Gunbarrel, ta!

Skier heading down the full-width upper M1 RaceTrack, by far the best run on Sunday.

Report
Sadly the South Westerly hair dryer has been in full flow the past couple of days though at least the wind eased up mid-morning to allow play to resume on the 'Gorm.

The most recent accumulations have been reversed and where fresh snow was lying on Friday the snowpack was very wet on Sunday, with slushy areas in the Ptarmigan Bowl and standing water on the Ciste Fairway. The refreeze is setting in this evening, so there are going to be some very icy bits up top and the Fairway is narrow and thin, another night like last night would have taken care off it. The Ptarmigan is fairing better and though not that much width in the bowl a decent enough depth to the cover on the main lines of the Run, with several park features set out along the steeper direct line into the Bowl. Ample areas for novices, but snow is likely to set up pretty hard tonight.

The Traverse and 105 retain a good cover of soft snow and Coire Cas is complete but narrow with the tow loading at the top of the Gunbarrel. Top Zig has good cover but below the Zig Zags are shot, Gunbarrel complete to just below M1 loading area, but narrow and banked.

By far the best riding on Sunday was on the M1 Race Track, mostly full width between the fences on the upper 2/3rds and out via the link to the Gunbarrel, just one narrowing section between the fences about halfway which can be avoided completely by exiting right through one of several fence gaps then taking a wider line back onto the main run and out the link.
