Thursday saw a blue sky powder day in the break between the two big snow storms, but by the early hours of Friday the snow was falling again, at the rate of several inches per hour.
The rest of these photos are a small selection taken around the Mountain Village and the main Lodge at Kirkwood around mid-day on Saturday before the wind got up. Blizzard conditions raged during the evening and the night, and snow continued to fall through till Tuesday.
By the time Wednesday 12th Jan dawned another blue sky day a further 129inches of snow had fallen!!
