Plateau Poma uptrack still good and you can ride off the Chair to the Poma so access is easy. Poma run narrow but complete.

Canyon was good fun this afternoon, always below the clag with fast crunchy spring snow.

Rescue Station was below the mist, but much of the upper slopes was in it (until about 4pm)!

Main Basin below the Haggis Trap, the trap itself is still completely flat.

Camping is free during the snowsports season, if you have decent kit come and have a few days spring riding on the cheap!

Old Mugs Alley from the Coire Pollach Tow is still in good condition and the best of the Plateau area green runs.

Lots of fun can be had in Thrombosis, to skiers left of the rock outcrop top right is a smoother steep line with no gully.

This is why there was a lack of photos from the upper mountain.

Visibility was poor at the top most of the day with occasional clearances (which were missed by me and the camera), snow was firm off the groomers on the upper mountain, but Happy Valley and the Main Basin were riding well.

Mid-mountain was below the clag, so the Canyon, Thrombosis and the Wall were much more fun for better skiers and borders. Canyon was a blast with fast crunchy spring snow, best line was right by the rock wall. Mugs Alley is still complete off the Cliffhanger, but don't hug the fence line for the best snow.

Old Mugs Alley is the best of the Plateau green runs by some distance and retains a good cover of granular spring snow despite it's lowly elevation. Directly served by the Coire Pollach Tow or using the central fork from the Cliffhanger Chair. Top of Mugs Alley, section of Bunny Run then Old Mugs Alley back to the Cliffy provides a good longer run for early intermediates comfortable with longer greens and easy blues.

Thursday is forecast to start bright with good Sunny Spells, already at time of update on Wednesday evening the cloud is showing signs of lifting and breaking with some clear patches of blue visible.

Glencoe continues daily snowsports operations (weather permitting) through to and including Monday 2nd May. £25 for adults / £18 for juniors and £20 for Students mid-week.
