The Spring Run was a blast and well worth the leg work for another go.

A fantastic turnout and a good day weather wise for the mid-summer ski and board at Glencoe on Saturday. The Cliffhanger run from 10am for half an hour to get us further up the mountain, but from there the legs had to do the work.

It started overcast, but with fairly light winds and cloud above the top. Quite welcome conditions for the uphill work, pleasant temperature and enough breeze to confine the midges to the glens. It brightened up later in the morning and many sessioned a kicker in the Main Basin under the mid-summer Sun early afternoon.

Others ventured further afield to take in the Spring Run and the Flypaper. Spring Run was great with good spring snow, but the best snow of the day was in the Canyon, fast granular spring snow and a nice flat Canyon.

The Access Chair is open daily weather permitting and if you fancy getting some summer turns in the snow is well worth the hike up still. Maybe see some people up for a July slide?
