Green Lowther from layby on A702, 1km SW of Nether Fingland, via Stowgill Dod and Riccart Law Rig. Descent via Horsegrain Dod and lower part of Riccart Cleuch
:: Weather Conditions
Blue skies and less wind than forecast. Cool northerly on top. FL at or near the road.
:: Snow Conditions and Distrubtion
Reasonable cover from the car. Plenty of grass/tussock sticking through snow varying from soft (mostly) with some icy patches. Decided not to do Lowther Hill as the eastern flanks of Horsegrain Dod looked like a more continuous descent than further west.
