0 deg C i car park first thing; light snow. Good day overall: Bright day with mix of cloud, blue skis and occasional sun

Mainly lower runs open with some mid-mountain slopes open. Thin cover in most places, although some nice snow in places. Stashes of powder/untouched snow if you went to look for it - esp off towards Rankin's Return, the new run. Good to be on the mountain although we all know conditions are usually better in February. Old Mugs Alley/Coire Pollach good snow but got a bit worn; Mugs alley sketchy but possible to get down it. It was possible to ski thrombosis, the Canyon, the Wall with careful rock avoiding (so my son told me!). Queues were minimal- only a few mins although earlier on it was ski on to the lift. Snow canon running on the plateau all day
