Very little cloud, blue skies, no wind. Some low lying mist. Well below zero...

An incredible day on the mountain today. Neglecting the car parking issues, the snow was fantastic. Some wind blown hard patches at the top and on exposed ridges, but on the main runs and in the gullies it was soft and fresh. The best runs of the day were under the access lift where the powder snow (and it was powder) had not been compressed by the wind overnight. Big smiles.

+3 Deg C in carkpark. Cold wind up on slopes esp near top at times. Pea soup from rescue shed up, with poor visibility. OK on lower slopes. Light snow when we left
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Snow better than I expect - soft in places, spring-like in places. Good on Happy Valley and the Wall - nice soft snow. However thin in some places e.g. top of Mugs Alley/Bunny run.
Top of Main Basin rocky so didn't venture in. I am sure the snow once you get in is nice - but we couldn't see it!
Rankin's Return in really good shape until the last part near the access chair. Good run for the way home!
Got to say I am surprised how good the cover is across Mugs Alley and Coire Pollach is. It's still pretty much ski anywhere with a few thin patches. Good work on the fence layouts!

Overcast and snow in the afternoon with whiteout conditions from top of Cliffy upwards. Moderate winds with some stronger gusts
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Most slopes icy until early afternoon when they softened up. Best run was Happy Valley which had quite nice soft snow although you couldn't see. There has been a slight thaw since last weekend on most slopes but affecting conditions by much. Could be freshies tomorrow if the hill isn't stormbound from the strong to gale force winds. Good sliding on offer

A beautiful cold winter's day to be out skiing with sunshine and hardly any wind. 3C at car park but still freezing at all levels on the hill with superb visibility.
:: Snow Conditions & Info
There is a good overall cover of snow on the whole mountain with all lower, middle and upper runs complete and open, apart from the Flypaper, with a mixture of skier and machine packed snow. Plenty of off piste options for tourers and the more adventurous. No appreciable snow loss since beginning of the week and now more runs have been prepared, marked out and opened. Rannoch Glades was excellent this afternoon and the pick of the day were the Etive Glades which are open from the top of Happy Valley to below and round the Wall with a lots of freshies to be had out wide and a pisted lower section round back to the Wall T-bar. Spring run is great fun with a good cover of snow but plenty of rock hazards and is unmarked and not patrolled. Happy Valley fast and smooth and narrows are complete with some rocks which are easily avoided. Main Basin great skiing on middle and upper sections with plenty of moguls forming, still have to cross over to Happy Valley as Haggis Trap still not skiable, just need a bit more snow with some drifting, on Sunday/Monday to fill the gullies in more and get Wall T-bar running. Lower runs all complete and skiable with plenty of options and scope for exploring out wide on the plateau. Rankin?s Return is a great addition to Glencoe giving long smooth piste back to chair from foot of the Spring Run. Some adventurous boarders still riding down Weasel track and blue access run until the snow runs out and hoofing it to the car park. Just waiting for the Snow making machine to build a big pile of snow and get it pushed up the track to meet the snow line. More of the same forecast tomorrow with just a little more wind. Photos to follow.

Dry and Sunny (but always behind hill). Very cold (FL: England)
:: Snow Conditions & Info
Front face little cover, Upper runs still a bit rocky but mid mountain and plateau area superb. Wall, lower Etive Glades and the powder between the plateau runs best. Did not get over to Spring Run because of strong winds but both Happy Valley and Main Basin good. Strongly recommend.
