End of another fine spring day, short walk back to the Access Chair.
Spring Run and Rannoch Glades still loaded on the upper mountain, below Thrombosis Gully still flat.
Lower Rannoch Glades out onto Mugs Alley.
Still deep snow on the mid and upper mountain.
View down the Canyon, sheltered from the SE wind it had firm crunchy spring snow.

Another pretty decent spring day at Glencoe, not the perfect bluebird of some recent days, but still enough Sunny Spells to turn those who didn't put on the suncream red.
Fresher East/SE wind closed the Cliffhanger, but the full mid and upper mountain area was accessible via the Wall and Main Basin T-bars. Forecast is quite blustery for Tuesday, so check AM esp if you wish to use the Cliffhanger Chair to access the mid mountain greens and blues.
Snow got quite soft where exposed to the wind, though it generally started to crunch up a bit again later in the day. The runs where the snow surface was out of the wind held the best spring snow though, so the Rock Garden, Little Rannoch and the Canyon were the picks.
Slightly less settled this week as the high pressure drifts away North, but the West is likely to have the best of the weather with the wind from the East.
