Looking up the Grouse and Snowy Owl, getting worn where the piste bashers have been spreading snow out to maintain width.

Osprey run sparkles in the sun!

The Buzzard side and runs from the Osprey Poma. Busy carpark!

Wider angle shot of the Buzzard and Base Lodge.

Eagle Runs are well pisted, firm to hard packed snow giving good fast turns.

While the snow cover may not be that extensive, there is still a mostly reasonable cover on the open runs, though warn patches are appearing on the usual places on the steeper pitch of the Grouse and Snowy Owl.

Best riding on Wednesday was on the Eagle, well pisted firm snow giving good but fast turns. Snow may not be that extensive now, with off-piste limited to the Buzzard side, but the weather more than made up for it on Wednesday so all in all a good day for those at the Lecht, very quiet so huge vertical can be clocked up. Another good day forecast for Thursday, but maybe not quite so much sun, with just the chance of a flurry.
