The Traverse is complete, but the skiable cover runs out after the 105. Middle of Cas needs more.

Looking down onto the mid Cas.

Boarder gets air above the Ptarmigan Tow.

Some good snow, but lots of rocks to avoid.

View over the back.

The Ptarmigan Bowl.

Looking up the Ciste Tow.

Ciste Fairway is complete, but cover is still thin in places, look out for rocks.

Drifts on the upper M2, but it's a run to nowhere.

View down the M2 (notice no floating bull wheel).

Looking across the Aonach Bowl (and partially dismantled Poma )

Report
Some fresh snow over recent days means the Ptarmigan Bowl is now skiable, and both the Ciste and Ptarmigan Tows were operating on Friday. These should be joined by the West Wall Poma for additional uplift in the Top Basin.

There is a kicker and a rail in place near the top of the Ptarmigan Tow. Below the Top Basin there is snow on the Traverse and the upper M2, but both are runs to nowhere at this stage. Snow runs out below the 105 and the mid section of the Cas needs more snow to be useable.

Thanks to Helen Rennie for the photos from Friday. Please send your photos to pix@winterhighland.com.
