Report
After a damp start things cleared up a bit on Sunday and later in the day the Sun made an appearance. On Easter Sunday CairnGorm had 230 Snowsports customers and nearly 900 funicular customers, come on get up there, think how long summer will be without a slide!!
It appears from this evenings updates that Sunday was the last day of the M1 and the Cas Tows for this season, it is also been reported that there will be no middle stops, however the Traverse is in good shape, the Cas is complete, and in reasonable nick apart from the very foot of the Gunbarrel. Cas, Traverse and Zig Zags are up on the provisional active piste map for Monday though, so will find out in the morning.
Still plenty of spring snow in the Top Basin, great for beginners in the Ptarmigan Bowl, with a longer green run on the Fairway, and some slightly steeper terrain on the Gully side of the Ciste, still pretty good width of cover.
