Wind has been the story of the past week, and being the weekend it certainly wasn't going to disappoint... However with colder weather setting in on Friday the high winds means moderate to heavy drifting is making good use of the snow showers in slowly filling in the runs and plugging the gaps in the base. Lots of drifts in the Top Basin which will need pisted out on Monday morning, and the winds are finally forecast to back off a touch, though still pretty high.
Gunbarrel, 105 and the Lady have been catching quite a bit of the fresh windblown powdery snow, giving good surface conditions, but the base is hardpacked and icy, so any scrapped bits will give icy patches.
