Moody Spring Run, wide and deep Spring Snow.

Despite the thaw in Tuesday's rain you can still ski off the Access Chair over to the Poma.

Spring is about steep, fast, smooth granular Spring Snow.

Looking back over the Flypaper Bowl which is utterly loaded still.

With the huge width in the bowl of the Flypaper you can pick as line as steep as it goes, or something mellower down the sides!

Looking across the wide Main Basin, Spring Snow motorway blue trail cruising for laying out big carves on.

Still fun lines under the Cliffhanger Chairlift between Thrombosis and the Canyon mid mountain.

Plateau Poma uptrack still complete for access, mid and upper mountain still in great shape.

Bottom of Mugs Alley and the Cliffhanger Chairlift, Mugs and the Bunny Run provide green options of the Cliffy.

Top leg of Mugs Alley heading from the top of the Cliffhanger Chairlift.

It brightened up into a fantastic day of spring riding with fast granular spring snow across the slopes of Meall 'a Bhuiridh with the upper and mid mountain still in fantastic shape. With high pressure due to be close to or centred over Highland Scotland over the end of the week and through the weekend then the message is simple, come and play while you can. The garden, the golf clubs, the spring clean etc can all wait a few weeks!

Snow may crunch up overnight if skies stay fairly clear, but should loosen up to great Spring Snow by day, though on Thursday there maybe a few snow showers around in the light WNW to NW wind. Thereafter it's expected to be dry with plenty of bright and Sunny weather with light winds.

Most upper and mid-mountain runs are open and in great shape, the only notable exception is Etive Glades. Main Basin is in great shape for laying out big carves and still no sign of the Haggis Trap which remains flat.

Despite the thaw earlier in the week the Plateau Poma uptrack has survived and is available for access, please don't ski down the uptrack as that will shorten it's life and it's barely a 5min walk down from the Plateau Cafe to the Access Chairlift. Not that much more walking though will get you to about 1700ft with some creative patch linking round the side of the Plateau to the blue Access Run.
