There were clear spells, but wind ratcheted up through afternoon. Main Basin was pretty damn good though.

Hope no-one needs the dumper in a hurry! Looking up from beside top of the Access Chair.

Various gully lines skiers left of the mountain river skied to Carpark on Tue with soft snow, but will turn hard tomorrow.

Fenced Red Access Run still complete, couple of narrow bits but easily passable to top of Carpark.

Spring Run has good depth and width, is absolutely loaded as it widens out onto the corner of Mugs Alley.

To the West side of the Access Chair it was pick a gully in nice soft easy goings now on Tuesday. Will set up hard through Wed!

Overhead wasn't as bad as feared on Tuesday, indeed there were some brighter spells mixed in with bits of mist and drizzle. Soft fresh snow on the Main Basin was giving good turns and really enjoyable. Though the ride up the T-bar became increasingly less enjoyable through the afternoon as the SW wind climbed, causing an early end to the day.

Snow was slower and stickier on the Plateau, but actually improved coming down below the Access Chair. The Red fenced Access Run is 3/4 in good condition, a couple of narrow bits but easily passable on Tuesday to the top of the Carpark. H

Hopefully the bulk of the snow below the top of the Access Chair will be OK tonight, as temperature set to fall through the early hours of Wed - having a consolidated base with fresh snow falling is always a real bonus at such a low level.

Not many photos because condensation got into camera and not much riding done personally as just shifting some gear around on the quest to get the webcams back up and running. All but Summit were online at dusk at www.winterhighland.info/cams/glencoe .

Snow, possibly fairly persistent and heavy forecast for Wednesday along with gales. Blizzard conditions at times and significant snow totals expected by end of Thursday. Both Thursday and Friday might have not to bad winds - one to watch!
